Career Opening: Senior E1 CNC Consultant

ERP-One Consulting is looking for a Senior E1 CNC Consultant, located out of a major Canadian city, preferably Calgary, Toronto, Montreal or Vancouver.

About the role

The Senior E1 CNC Consultant is a client-facing role, leading and supporting technical projects. This role requires someone who is a self-starter, capable of working independently, and who is able to travel within North America up to approximately 20% of the time. The successful candidate must be a Canadian Citizen who is able to meet the requirements for obtaining a TN-Visa for work in the United States.

The Senior E1 CNC Consultant will provide expertise in the following areas:

• Technical project planning, estimating, scope definition, and requirements planning
• Leading and supporting technical projects
• Helping clients find the best solutions for their complex business problems
• Managing multiple projects and clients at once
• Effectively communicating technical information clearly to senior management
• E1 upgrades and implementations, server re-platforming, CNC expansions, system hardening
• E1 CNC Modern Development, including but not limited to Java / REST / JSON / AIS / JDeveloper / MAF for iOS and Android

Required skills and experience:

• Computer Systems Analyst (undergraduate degree or post-secondary diploma plus three years' experience)
• Senior level CNC with superior troubleshooting skills
• Able to quickly pinpoint root cause of critical system down events
• E1 9.2 Upgrade & Tools Release experience across multiple platforms (Windows, iSeries, AIX / Linux / UNIX)
• Re-platforming experience
• JAS/AIS/BSSV server installations
• JDE E1 LDAP implementation
• Third party integrations such as archiving, disaster recovery solutions

Other desirable skills:

• JDE E1 Mobile development using Java / REST / JSON / AIS / JDeveloper / MAF for iOS and Android
• JDE E1 RTE, ADF implementations
• JDE E1 JAS Web Portal and Self-Service implementations
• Database experience in MSSQL, Oracle DB, DB2
• Installation, Integration and development using Magic XPI
• End user training of technical curriculum such as CNC and mobile development topics
• JDE E1 development (Reports, Forms, BSFNs, BSSV)
• JDE E1 SSO using OAM implementations
• Experience with RevSoft products such as Scheduler, Message, Observer, Guardian
• Scripting experience using VBS, PowerShell
